<p>hello, so i want to major in medical technology, but some colleges i really like dont have the major. and i know that there are many ways to go around becoming a medical technologist without going to college going straight into a med. tech major. In the end i was wondering, considering there is biology. biological science, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry... which one should i choose?</p>
<p>Hi, you may want to clarify what you think you will do with a degree called medical technology. In some states, that might be a 2-3 year technical program where you can be a lab tech or medical assistant. In other states it could be a 4-year program that leads to a specialty. Depending on what you want to do ultimately, you can better choose the right school.</p>
<p>As a medical technologist, you do,laboratory work, so thats what i want and will be doing. I already have my colleges i applied to, but wanted to know what other majors could i choose that will help me end up in a career in the laboratory.</p>
