choosing a major?

i plan to be at nyu(cas) next year and i was wondering if there is an easy major for those planning on being pre-med. i heard that being a bio major at nyu is tough, to say the least, and i want to maintain a 3.6+ gpa. any suggestions?

im biochem rite now... BAD idea... but its the only subject i REMOTELY like. so i had to choose it. If your genuinely interested in the body, and what makes things truly alive (biology) LEARN about it. you'll do fine. dont worry about GPA just yet. taking bio and chem freshman year is a good start for pre-med. a lil tough i will warn.

i was thinking about neuroscience or biomedical engineering

My roommate is in GSP pre-med and she's going to do history. She said it didn't have as many credit requirements.

...an easy pre-med major?

is that a serious question?

i mean, theoretically, you CAN major in anything and still go to med school, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose?
