Im sorry for bring this old thread back again … but would you still recommend CCSF for a biology/biochem major ?
in other words does it also offer science courses ?

I heard DVC has good rates for people getting into cal. But then again honestly it doesn’t matter where you go because it matters about your work/grades…& I know people who also went to SCC who have got accepted into cal too.

CCSF would be a bad choice for anyone right now. The ones I am looking at are DVC, De Anza, and Laney.

CCSF does seem like a bad choice right now. Their accreditation is set to be terminated July 31, 2014…I don’t know about you, but that scares me enough even though the decision is not final as of now.

Yea I heard of that literally right after I submitted that post … oppss …
so now what about
De anza college
Los Angeles harbor college ?
Which one would be better in terms for a biochem major ? and to transfer to Berkeley, and where the price to live in the surrounding area isn’t through the roof
Im sorry for all those terms … I just really want to find the right community college

I think I recall reading about Pasadena City College having a transfer program with Berkeley; however, i could be wrong. You should look it up!

Im thinking of attending CCSF from the spring semester. Is it not a good idea?
