I've been having a lot of trouble trying to decide between certain courses to take next year as a senior. My premier goal is to be admitted to New York University or Columbia University, and I was wondering what kind of schedule would look better.

The schedule I am thinking of currently is:
IB Biology
History of the Americas
IB Math Studies
Theory of Knowledge
AP Human Geography
IB French
IB English
Spanish 1

My issue is that I've taken French for many years and love it, but I also feel that I would like some exposure to Spanish as well, but everyone from my friends to my guidance counselors are saying that taking a level one language course my senior year might look mediocre...but I also have an IB language course! My other option would be to replace Spanish 1 with AP Statistics, and if I were to do that I would have taken Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, AP Calculus, IB Math Methods, IB Math Studies, and AP Statistics all in my four years of high school, and seeing as I am looking at a path in medicine, many math courses may give me an advantage.

I know I've written a lot, but I would appreciate someone's advice on the matter! Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to help me!
