what is the difference between studying accounting-finance and economics-finance?
Accounting will be far more granular than econ. Accounting will teach you the technical components of understanding the numbers on balance sheets, how cash flow operates within a corp, business valuation, etc. Econ is more theory about societal issues (what happens to the farm community when tariffs set off a trade war and how do we reconcile that?) .
Either way, you are likely to enjoy your employment opportunities.
If interested in Big 4 accounting firms, then one path seems obvious, but if going for big money on Wall Street, then the other path might be the better choice.
