Choosing senior year classes

I'm in the process of choosing next year's classes right now. I want to be a finance major in college, so I'm deciding between taking Intro to Econ or Intro to Business. (I only have room for one more class.) So which one (Econ or Business) is considered better to take in high school? Or should I just wait for college to take business/econ courses, and take another AP instead (like Human Geo or Psych)?

Thanks lots!

bump anyone? econ vs business?

I would take econ if you already have a few APs, or the other AP if you only have 1.

econ – colleges would understand what it’s about. intro to business sounds like a soft course.

I suggest that you take Economics.

I suggest Econ too. It just sounds harder. Lol. Also, you could self-study for the AP in Economics.

Okay great! I’ve decided to take Econ. I already have a number of APs, so I’m not too worried about that. Case closed - thanks y’all :)

Do you research–are these well-taught classes at your school? If they’re not, then decide whether you want an easy, slack-off class or another AP. Your decision should be made based on a) how difficult a courseload you want to deal with and b) what you want to learn.
