I am currently a junior hs student preparing for internship this summer. Currently, I have applied to City of Hope and SIP at UCSC. I am denied at City of Hope but they are willing to accept me as a volunteer. SIP just accepted me and offered me to research in the field of psychology. (my top choice + what I am most interested in) However, if i decide to go to SIP i need to live on UCSC campus. ($400+/week and a $3000 fee) My family income bracket does not qualify any kind of financial aid… My mom is not willing to pay for it cause it sounds more like a camp instead of internship. I would appreciate a lot if anyone went there in the past can inform me their experience at SIP as well as how they feel about the program ! ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
