Choosing to send scores and cancelling score report order?

  1. I ordered score report sends, the option where I put my credit card information in before my SAT score releases, so that the score automatically sends and bills the card once the score does release. According to College Board, the card isn't billed until the SAT score actually comes out. However, there are scores that I have chosen to send to Colleges that I arguably should not send (outlined below). So, can I call College Board and request that my score report order is cancelled? There shouldn't be any issue with refunding, as the scores aren't even the process of being sent yet, and the card supposedly has not been billed. I've been spending time looking for the option to cancel the score report order on the College Board website, but to no avail. If the website does give that option, please feel free to share. :)
  2. I've taken the regular SAT exam 3 times. On the second exam, I received a lower score than I did in the first by 10 points and did not achieve a new superscore. On the third exam, I showed a great deal of improvement and I'm able to superscore (coincidentally with both the second and first SAT scores, since my English score was the same for both). Would it hurt my chances to get into a college if I choose to send the second score, as I did not show any improvement from the first, nor does it add to my overall superscore in any way? Or do colleges simply just consider taking the highest English and Math Scores and call it a day?
  3. I also took the subject tests Math 1 and Math 2, and received 690 and 730, respectively. Would it hurt my chances of getting into a school if I send Math 1 as well as Math 2, or will they ignore Math 1 since scored got higher on the more difficult Math exam?

Depends upon the school (s). Do they require all scores and do they require SAT subject tests?

No they don’t require everything. They participate in score choice.

If they participate in score choice, send the scores which will give you the best “superscore” along with the Math 2 Subject test. Most colleges prefer the Math 2 vs Math 1.

Well yeah, that is the plan. Although, my superscore would be the same, regardless of whether or not I send the 1st or 2nd SAT scores, haha. It’s just that the second one doesn’t help my case at all, it’s my lowest score and doesn’t add to my superscore. I guess my real question is will it have a negative impact on the Admission’s Officer’s decision to accept me, seeing as how I kind of flunked my second SAT? Or will it make virtually no difference, since my superscore remains the same?

Yes I’ll send Math 2 for sure. But again, would it pose a negative impact on my application if I am unable to rescind the score send in which I chose to send both Math 1 and Math 2? (Basically, would it hurt my chances if I were to send Math 1 and Math 2, as opposed to just Math 2?)
