Choosing you majors...

I'm a rising senior who is going to apply next year.
I'm planning to apply to V tech and College park MD.

I was wondering since the two schools are known for engineering the major would be competitive. I want to major in mechanical or electronic engineering ,but my first goal is to attend in one of those colleges. I was wondering if I were to apply undecided would it lower my chances of getting in to the school? And if I get in undecided is it possible to change to a major over the summer?

Engineering is generally a school, not a major. This means that you need to apply specifically to these universities’ engineering schools.
