Choosing your majors in the UC Application?

So I’m filling out my UC Application online, and it says I need to pick the college I want to apply to as well as the major. So I want to apply to all the UC’s (hoping to get into one of them) but UC Santa Barbara doesn’t seem to have Civil Engineering?

So my question is do I just give up on that school or what? Is Civil Engineering not offered to Freshman applicants? Will I able to apply as a Mechanical Engineer and switch to Civil? I’m really confused?

UCSB Engineering has only 5 majors: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
Would you attend UCSB if you cannot major in Civil Engineering? If not, then don’t apply.
