Hey CC,
Had some questions about CHP.
So I didn’t get into the CHP, but I think it’s because my primary major was Biomedical Engineering: Premedical, and I was admitted to my alt (biological sciences). I plan on going to med school in the future, will not being in CHP be a huge detriment? Is it possible to get into the CHP while a student at UCI?

From what I can tell, I think you can apply as a student, but you won’t be in CHP your first year (assuming you get in the year after).
Hey, follow up question that I might as well ask in this thread because it fits the topic: I did get into CHP, but I did so as undeclared physical sciences. I’m now thinking I may want to switch into a more selective major (ie Biomedical Engineering). Could I do so and potentially have my CHP status retained despite the major switch? Thanks
