Christian support at Stanford?

My son was encouraged by a private college counselor to consider applying to Stanford but he knows little about it. We're in So. Cal. so we hope to visit late this summer or in the fall.

I'd like to know about Christian support groups on campus. Maybe there's an old thread on this that someone could link in? My son and I visited Princeton and were able to attend the Princeton Evangelical Fellowship and it was a great experience. Just wondering if there's something similar on Stanford's campus.

Thanks.

There’s a lot of support for it:

[Office for Religious Life](http://www.stanford.edu/group/religiouslife/cgi-bin/wordpress/)

Many student groups are available (or if he wants, he can create one as a student): go to myGroups@Stanford[/url”>http://mygroups.stanford.edu/]myGroups@Stanford and click “advanced search,” then choose “religious” under group type, and hit search. There are about 70 groups, many of which are Christian.

Absolutely, my D was involved and greatly supported by the wonderful groups at Stanford.

No worry.

Lots of sonshine!

Thank-you very much, Phantasmagoric and Artana. I’ll check out the link as suggested. It’s nice when we can talk personally with students and professors as we’ve been able to do with a few other schools on his list.

I appreciate it!
