During Christmas break do we have to move ALL our stuff out of the dorms?

Or can we leave most of our stuff in the rooms?

Also it is possible for early check in? (residence halls officially open on Jan 7)

Don't classes start the 17th or something?

Razr,
I go to UT..... I don't think we have to take anything out of rooms! We just lock the door and go! Ask your RA... but I'm 99% sure we leave our stuff there, just think, everyone moving out and moving in again... no way!
I'm not sure about early check in for the spring semester.....
And yeah classes start on the 16th...
hope you are having a good time at UT!

We Do Have To Move Everything Out Of Our Rooms!!! Or We Will Be Fined!!

Are you serious? That's fn bs; its our room for one year. Why the hell do we have to waste time and effort for just one month?

Hey....so here it goes:
check out the website, but this is the important part...
http://www.utexas.edu/student/housing/index.php?site=2&scode=0&id=1206

Check in; occupancy

Halls will close between the fall and spring semesters at 9 a.m. on the day following the last final examination. If you plan to return to the same room in the spring semester, you may leave your possessions in the room, but you will not be able to access the room between semesters.

...I hope this clears all doubts!
