Christmas cards from BS

My D received a few Christmas cards from the teachers who interviewed her from the schools she applied. I wonder if this is a standard practice from the boarding schools. Should we also send Christmas cards to the teachers that we met during the interivews and school visits?

@Dadxyz,
I received Christmas cards from my interviewers and several admissions offices. I assume it’s fairly common practice.

I didn’t get any cards. :(

You should only send cards back, in my opinion, if they are personal. For example, a card that just says “Happy Holidays from Andover!” is obviously not personal. But if you can tell the school/your interviewer wrote it personally to you then I think you should

Neither did I. :(

I didn’t recieve any cards, though I only emailed my interviewer a thank you note.

I got a really personalized one from Hotchkiss, so I just added a thank you in an email I was already sending to my interviewer.
I also got ones, less personal though, from most schools that I only requested info from (never interviewed/toured)

^I got a very personal one from a school today. I let wishful thinking get the best of me :[
