What are you guys asking for for Christmas?

A new computer and a ping pong table.

Nothing - my father spent a lot on my college applications and SAT score reports - it would be extremely selfish for me to ask for anything else. My Dad is going to get my “Christmas gifts” after I get accepted to college (in the spring) - which consists of a MacBook, iPad, and new clothes.

I’m asking for a couple gift cards, couple things for my room, a new iPad (shattered mine), iPhone 5s (my current phone doesn’t work), and that’s about it

Christmas is my favorite holiday. I’ve been listening to Christmas music since the start of November :D

I usually just get a chunk of money I use for something… not too much, but I’m fine with it, since all I am capable of having fun with (as objects) is my laptop… don’t really need much more. Regardless, I think we’ll be getting new carpet for the house, which I think would be great since I think new carpet would be cool and would get rid of the tons of pee stains my dog has left behind.

A new laptop.

Hopefully an iPhone 5s. Either that or like 20 pairs of 5 dollar earbuds in a variety of colors. Honestly, either one will make me happy. Oh, and maybe some of these really cool custom watches that keep popping up on Facebook. As long as I get one of those three I’ll be satisfied.

A new camera.<3 I’m saving most of my selfishness for graduation, since I’m getting a laptop and a vacation to Hawaii, hah.

Here’s a question (from a parent)…how much do your folks usually spend on holiday presents for you?

I know this is going to vary wildly from family to family, but just curious.

FWIW, one of my girls asked for Rookie Yearbook 2 as one of her presents…worth checking out that whole Rookie endeavor ([Rookie](http://rookiemag.com)) if you are not aware of it. Especially for the young women on the board.

gift cards and some clothes

A camcorder, and money to send my ACT scores in.
That’s it.

This year I’m asking for a laptop, contacts and some sat books. Usually my parents each spend ~$300 on me (they’re divorced) but hopefully this year my dad will make an exception for my computer – it’s necessary for schoolwork!

Laptop + $50 worth of RAM and either money to send in test scores or pay the deposit at my ED school if I get in.

I usually get around $200-400 in presents, but this year that might be covered by housing fees alone… hopefully :p

Price varies widely at my house. One year she got me PS3 and 4 games, and the other she got me a comb and fingernail clipper, lol. It usually depends on how expensive my birthday gift was (in May). The year I got the comb I got my current laptop for my birthday, which I’m really grateful for since it was so expensive.

This year she probably won’t get me anything. That’s not a big deal since we didn’t start celebrating Christmas until I turned ten, so I’m not really use to getting gifts.

an iphone I have a brick at the moment so I’m really looking forward to it.

I moved recently, and my room is all plain and boring since I opted not to keep the room decor I’ve had since I was like 10, lol. So hopefully I get somd cool stuff to decorate my room (and a light!!! The bedrooms at my new place don’t have overhead lights and I still don’t have a light in my room except a desk lamp…). I also want a plane ticket to go visit my friends in Maine or Florida but I don’t see that happening so I won’t even ask lol.

My mom generally spends ~$200 each for my brother and I, though this varies from year to year. My grandparents spend a crapload though!!! I ask them for maybe 1-2 things, the put those in my stocking and then buy like 10 more things. I’m definitely spoiled lol.

One D Tix!

Legos. Always Legos. I’m a bit of an addict.

Legos are so ridiculously expensive for what they are. You would think with them costing so much you wouldn’t have issues with them getting stuck together, but you know what? You do!
