Christmas Lists

Since many of you have said the needing bras and them being expense and being a little awkward to receive underwear with all your presents, what about just asking for a gift card?

-Some clothes
-dorm stuff
-shoes
-idk

Trips to colleges.

Unless porkperson springs for a $3000 piano or musicallylatin decides to convert her room into a full-sized home kitchen, I don’t think anyone is exceeding $3000. Even ravenclaw’s ridonkulous list isn’t exceeding $2k (I think). As for my list, I’ve been working numerous part-time jobs since I was 15, so my Christmas list is being bought by my own money (and all of these things should last for 2-6 years).

And let’s not assume that people here aren’t heavily involved in volunteering. Ask me what I’m involved in.

People are put off by certain CCers because they try to act like intellectuals when it’s completely unnecessary. Then there are the people who try to act all worldly and pedantic, but they suck at trying.

In fact, there’s no indication anywhere that anyone on here is an obnoxious spoiled brat.

I hope not. But I think some people who don’t exactly like me might call me that…

I just want an iphone 4, Harvard sweatshirt, coolpix camera, Abercrombie sweats/ hoodie, and a charm bracelet.

a college acceptance? my early school results come out on christmas -_-

I don’t really want much for Christmas. I hate when my mom spends money on me so I don’t really let her buy me a lot but for Christmas I want.

-A regular point and shoot camera. I don’t really know what I would do with a fancy Nikon or Canon. I can usually just get a cheap, used one on Amazon for almost less that $80.

-A new iPod (This will be ipod number 4… I need to stop losing my iPod’s…)

-A new phone (I have a crappy one right now that’s pre-paid). And I don’t want a fancy one either. I actually really just want a plan so I can make phone calls and not have to worry about losing minutes…

-Clothes and shoes. Mostly just clothes from American Eagle and Forever 21. This is where I buy most of my clothes anyways. I live in Okinawa so I do a lot of online shopping and AE has cheap jeans online and Forever 21 is cheap, has free shipping if you spend over a certain amount, and the clothes are really nice.

And yeah that’s about it really. I mean odds and ends would be nice. Some Victoria’s secret spray is also lovely but that’s something I can buy with my own money because it’s pretty cheap (on base it’s only $7.95). I remember when I was little I would have a list of over 100 items but now I don’t really need any of that…

Oh well I want a boyfriend but my parents really can’t give me that…

Like most girls, I need some new bras. I’m one of those awkward sizes that Victoria’s Secret doesn’t carry, so I order them online.

A track suit of some sort. I’m always so jealous of those girls at the gym who have those velour Juicy track suits, while I’m sweating away in hobo sweats and an oversized “Yo quiero Taco Bell” t-shirt.

That’s pretty much it, besides more sheet music, and probably some Barnes and Nobles giftcards.

I need to ask for an MIT hoodie. or an MIT sweatshirt. Or an MIT jacket.

Time to go online.

Well just found out I’m visiting colleges over spring break so I need a new list lol.

LA Fitness gym membership (I hate planet fitness)
iPod (my sister left it on the front seat of her car and it got rained on)
Puma shoes
Red Lobster and Cheescake Factory gift cards out the yin Yang
Amazon gift card for Kindle books

That’s it.

i want/need a new phone with a texting plan! (can you believe it- i’ve never had one before gaah)

a chi flat iron would be nice too :)

Uhhh even though I don’t really celebrate Christmas, we exchange gifts anyway. Well, my mom buys stuff for my brother and I.

I suppose I’d like:
-iTunes giftcard
-Sims 3 Late Night (cough)
-ipod 4 screen cover

Ideally, I’d LOVE:
-Macbook. I have to wait until college. My 13 year old brother has one. >_>
-A phone WITH A PLAN. My parents prefer pre-paid, which SUCKS

I would love:
A fancy photography camera
An I-pod
Money
A laptop
TOMS
SIMS 3
A REAL texting plan

None of which I’m likely to get

Hey any seniors in here? If so, are you guys going to be spending big bucks this Christmas in order to get rid of liquid assets before the FAFSA application?

the perfect pair of jeans- i have no skinny jeans
a leather jacket

I want a 2400 on my SATs . C’mon santaa kamannnnnnnnnn =]
& the new macbook would’nt hurt .

ED I acceptance to Pomona would be the perfect Christmas gift for me, along with a Pomona hoodie.

Other things I would like in the next year (I will probably only get one of these things for Christmas):
-Money to bid on something at my school’s Silent Auction
-Campbell Bio textbook
-A guitar
-New clothes for college

I don’t usually ask for much for Christmas. This year I’m asking for a visa gift card so that I can get stuff from the after Christmas sales. And I’d love art supplies but I’d rather buy those on my own as my family has no idea about art stuff. Oh! And custom converse.

Actually… What I really want I’m not bothering to ask for… I want a KitchenAid Mixer and food processor. And a blender.
