Hi @bongo397:
I stumbled on this thread—did you go to Church Farm after all?

If yes, how’s the school?

Really nice, small (+/- 180 kids 7th-12th grade) school in rural"ish" PA. Great history…started off as an agricultural school for farmers’ sons. Kids would work the farm (milk cows, churn butter, etc in the morning) and go to school in the afternoon. School started selling off parcels of farm land and consequently has an enormous endowment (I think in excess of $125 million) that they are very generous with around financial aid. Great work ethic/working class values (read: not traditional “preppy/rich” atmosphere) faith based, extremely close relationships between teachers/support staff and students. We loved it.

Hi,
I’m glad that you like Church Farm—we’re hoping that our S can get in! :-)

Thx!!

Show interest. Towards the end of the summer call and ask when the next admissions event will be, and if it’s at all possible (don’t know how far the trip is for you) you should visit. The school is tiny…I think my son’s freshman class will have less than 30 boys…so they want to make sure that every kid admitted is happy and excited to be there.

Thx @JoBenny, we’ll do that, we’re in Maryland:-)
