there is more to church than just the sermon.

Son has tried a few different churches since he’s been at Bama.
He likes church of the Highlands. It meets in the Bryant conference center and has at least 2 services. He really likes the later service option. I think they are 9:30 and 11:30. They have a web page if you just google it. I was curious about what he had found and did that. Sounds like worship is live, but preaching comes on screen. Several hundred in attendance and a lot of students. Web site states their beliefs and goals. Just encourage yours to keep trying a few churches until he finds what fits.

DD also attends Church of the Highlands and loves it. She also attends Bama Cru on Tuesday nights 8pm at Calvary Baptist Church on Bryant Dr. In addition she is also a member of one of the Bama Cru community groups that meets on Monday nights. these community groups are student led. You can find a list of them on the Bama Cru website at http://bamacru.com/.

Check out Church of the Highlands. The church is based in Birmingham, with campus ministries in several locations in the state. They have a website you can visit. DS is about to audition for the campus worship team this week.

Oops, sorry for the duplication. Didn’t see ParkTN’s post somehow.

Thanks for the feedback. We’ll check out those churches when we visit.
