Churches in Boston

Our daughter will be looking for a Protestant church in Boston that is popular with students. I thought I'd give her a head start before she moves to that area. Does anyone know of any? We are non-denominational.

i don't have an exact answer for you but you can be assured that there won't be any problems at all finding a nice church in boston

d should check with the chaplain at college or the college website for religious oriented student organizations. The Boston area probably has every faith imaginable, and someone at her college may maintain a list of nearby places of worship.

What college is she interested in?

For example, the following religious organizations exist at Harvard:

Boston University:

the churches in boston are breathtaking. i've never been to a place where the churches just SEEMED so sacred. there are two on newbury street that are really old and really beautiful, both are right near the public library. The North End is an old Italian neighborhood in Boston and it has a really old and really nice church with this really transportive gated garden with little statues everywhere, tall arbors of trees... sigh, it's beautiful. My personal favorite, although I guess I could be biased, is Memorial Church in Harvard Yard. I LOVE that church and I'd recommend your daughter go to at least one sunday service there!
Hope your daughter has fun, everything about Boston is magical, churches included!

If she is right in Boston, she can try the Park Street Church which is right on Beacon Hill near the Boston Common and has a large, young congregation
It is right off the Park Stree T stop and is part of the Freedom Trail

I absolutely love Trinity Church, right in Copley Square. I bring my kids there whenever we are in Boston. She should join the church and get to know the reverand...It is large and has wonderful music on sundays...and holidays.....absolutely beautiful as well....

I live on Cape Cod but prefer this church!! Great daycare downstairs if your daughter has friends with kids...
