<p>How is this program? Daughter wants a career in the technical aspects of editing, not directing or writing. Will probably double major in Public Relations. Specifically comparing it to Loyola Marymount. DePaul is cheaper, closer to home, and I think she has a much better shot of acceptance. She has a very nice portfolio, is a B+ student (4.0 in dual enrollment mass comm program - will have 24 community college hours at graduation), and is not great at standardized tests (note that DePaul is now test optional). As a junior, she has not taken the SAT yet. Would the industry connections, location, and more intimate size of LMU make it worth dreaming about? I think Emerson and especially Chapman would be far reaches.</p>
