We received an email that will hear Jan 24th
Portal says Monday - 1/23. From last year’s thread it looks like decisions started coming out at around 4PM. Never a guarantee though.

Wondered same… No one sees merit or special scholarships in admission note?
Scholarship/financial aid packages are supposed to be released Feb. 26th. (Financial Aid Timeline | University of Cincinnati)

I knew about housing for this school year and it being a mess but have you heard class of 2023 is questionable too? Aren’t freshman guaranteed housing?

Thanks for the heads up we didn’t know about this. Definitely something to ask about when we visit campus next month.
Housing situation at UC is a mess. The do not have enough housing for freshman and sophomore students. My daughters friend was forced to find alternative housing as a sophomore this year and we know of freshman who were placed into alternative housing. In all honestly, UC has a massive mess on its hands when it comes to housing and its not going to be resolved anytime soon. Its the reason my son didn’t bother to apply and some of his friends either didn’t or have accepted they will commute. If your student wants to attend a College with guaranteed acceptable housing, cross UC off the list.
Thanks for that info. We will definitely ask next month when we go to accepted students day. We knew my dd might have to find housing for sophomore year but not freshman year which would take it off the list.
