Cincinnatus Question

hey everyone, i have a really quick question. i've just received the cincinnatus letter, would it be a time waster if i go attend the competition when i don't even know if i'm accepted yet?

First of all, congratulations. Second, to answer whether it would be a timewaster to attend the competition I would strongly suggest NO! In fact you stand a very good chance of receiving more by going and participating based on the # of attendees vs the # of higher level scholarships available. You should go, imho.

dont everyone get the cincinnatus?

"dont everyone get the cincinnatus?"
yes, everyone wit th letter do get the Cincinnatus $^)

If you've received a letter saying you've been awarded the Cincinnatus you will recieve the minimum award whether you attend the oncampus competition or not. Your odds of increasing that amount are Very Good if you do go as I pointed out above....provided you do grammatically well on your essay that day, hehe. eva, go...you won't regret it and gl
