Cincinnatus Scholarship Chance?

Hello I was just seeing what the chances of getting any level Cincinnatus schoalrship was. I know that the requirements are something along the lines of: 24 ACT and 3.2 GPA but I would assume you need to have done a bit better than that.

My Scores:

ACT
Composite: 32
English: 33
Math: 28
Reading: 32
Science: 33
Combined English/Writting: 30

SAT:
Have not taken

Class Rank:
Not Provided (assuming top 15% out of 150)

GPA
Weighted: 3.8 Unweighted: 3.7

Taken 3 APs and 5 Honors

2 Varsity Football Letters

Service Junior and Senior year

What are my chances of getting any typre of Cincinnatus Scholarship? (even the century or university awards will be enough for me)

It depends on whether you are applying to one of their more well known programs or not. If for DAAP, it is hard to say. If you are apply to their school of Arts and Science or business, you probably have a decent shot.

Oh yes, I forgot, I’m appplying to the College of Engineering and Applied Science

My two sons were both offered the $3000 Scholarship. My first one applied in 2009 (pre-med), had a 34 ACT composite, was top 1% of his class, and had leadership and volunteer activities. He chose another school that gave him a full scholarship. My second son (now in DAAP - ID) had a 32 ACT, was in the top 2% of his graduating class, and also had leadership and volunteer activities. Both had at least 8 AP classes, but I think they had only completed 3 by their junior year when they applied. If you haven’t read the other threads regarding the Cincinnatus Scholarship, those might also give you some insight. Goodluck to you! I think you have a great chance at getting something!

Thank you Ocomom, if you dont mind, did they go to public or private schools?
