Cincinnatus Scholarship - Is UC right for me?

I have applied and have been accepted to UC. I have also been invited to compete for the Cincinnatus Scholarship (meaning I'm already guaranteed $5000/year as an OOS). I would need to go to Cincinnati to compete for the scholarship; my mother says she would take me only if I am serious about going there. As of now, I've also been accepted into the University of Georgia with the HOPE scholarship; I've also been invited to apply to the Honors Program (though I think my chances are slim on getting in). I'm going to study Communication if I go to UC.

Does anyone know UC very well to know my chances for some kind of scholarship beyond the $5000? My cousin went there but in an entirely different field -- and he is instate -- so he can tell me about the college itself. But does anyone know anything about it in comparison of UGA? Is it more "commuter" (ie a Georgia State University) or does it have the college feel?

Also, what do you think of my chances for a good scholarship?
I have a 1360 SAT (2140 w/ Writing) and a 3.7 UW GPA (with lots of Gifted and AP classes all 4 years). Class rank of 60/365.

I actually think that you have a fairly good chance. I would say that it would be a great chance but, if you read my overview of UC, you would realize that they are rather funky. For example, your lower class rank might hurt you since they are very class rank oriented.

To be honest, UC is a decent school but, as far as the ratings and rankings go, it isn't anything that great with a few exceptioins: School of Design, Art, Archtecture, and Planning, The School of Music, the School of Pharmacy and School of Medicine. These are by far their best, most well-known programs and are nationally ranked very highly. They also have decent business and engineering programs, but, again, nothing to rave about.
