My S and I will be travleing to Cincinnati for the scholorship competition on February 11, and wonder if other CC parents are going. I met so many great people in December at Syracuse, it made the whole waiting experience a fun time. The kids are busy all day, 8 - 4:30, and they offer seminars for parents, or we can explore on our own.

yay I am going too! I don't really know what it is we'll be doing lol, but hey if it's a chance to get money, I'm there. We have to write an essay? And then group problem solving? Or something? haha whatever, it'll be fun! See you there!

Our kids probably know each other from CMU last summer. My S was in the acting program. I look forward to meeting you there. I can pm or email more info if you want.

My S was also in the CMU acting program last summer. Just got accepted to CCM, but can't make the scholarshop competition because of a show he's in. LOL to everybody.

Hi did anyone on this board attend Cincinnatus? There were also the final auditions this weekend. I felt sorry for the stress of the weather on top of those going to audtions. The weather was crazy, and I know some people were delayed as we were.

It gave my D so much more interest in CCM than she already had to actually see this program and all it had to offer. She was also able to sit in on two classes, which she felt very good about. This is a world class operation, and the campus is gorgeous.

Now, just waiting with baited breath along with you others out there....

My son was at the Cincinnatus competition also and auditioned Saturday, as well. He loved the experience and enjoyed meeting many students on our hotel shuttle! Living in CA I LOVED the snow...but of course (thankfully) I didn't have to drive on the icy roads!

S found out he has been awarded one of the 10 "full ride" Cincinnatus Scholarships. Wow! CCM and Cincinnatus, he will definately have a lot of decisions ahead! :)

Thank you so much for all the kind words. s is still in a daze! It is so wonderful to have such supporting "friends" as we do here on CC. Thanks again.
