i was looking through the USC housing brochure, and i was wondering if anyone can give me more information about the cinema floor in new college. i was accepted as a comm major, and would one day like to join the industry as a producer. how is life in the cinema floor? are the people interesting and diverse? is it fun? thanks in advance

When i visited last year i went and looked at the cinema floor. The rooms were small and it was old but the people were soooooooo nice. Everyone was really into film (although not all film majors). Apparantly they do loads of fun activities too like movie outings and stuff. I dunno, i would pick that floor!

Kaitylin is right, the people on the cinema floor are real nice. I heard it is one of the most popular floors. My son lucked out and got the cinema floor this year and now has lots of friends who he has lots in common with. The cinema floor has all sorts of majors from cinema to theater majors to undeclared. Probably best to apply there real early. Another take, one of the best things about this floor, is that is seems like the people there are from all over, including international. They don't go home as much as the people solely from LA so there is always lots of people to do things with on the weekends and some of the LA people also invited my son and others that were there over Thanksgiving to their homes for dinner which I thought was really nice.
