Hi everyone,

I am looking at also auditioning for Circle in the Square, but a little unsure about it.

I know people attending Circle in the Square. It is not a degree program, but is a VERY intense 2-year conservatory style program. You are actually in class for 31 hours a week your first year and about 35 a week second year. Homework and rehearsal is in addition to these hours. They teach a variety of acting methods. There are no shows for you to perform in at Circle until you graduate after your second year, these are called performance projects. The people I know there are very happy and have enjoyed the intense training. At least 5 teachers there now are also teachers at Juilliard and many others are coaching/training people currently on Broadway. There is no housing or meal plan, so you’re on your own to figure out food and housing. If you have specific questions, please feel free to PM me. P.S.-I haven’t been on CC for months and happened to log in today and see your post–funny how things work out that way!
