Circles of CC Hell

So I was browsing through the forums a bit ago and I thought to myself, "there should be a special circle of hell for people who aren't happy with ridiculously high scores." Then I decided that might be an interesting idea for a slightly silly but potentially fun thread.

Map out the nine levels of "CC Hell." Each level down corresponds to a greater offense. I don't really have any good ideas now, but I'll put a few tentative things down.

Circle 1: The revivers of lame threads
Circle 2: The creators of lame threads (like this one, haha)
Circle 3:
Circle 4: The oblivious askers of questions already discussed a thousand times
Circle 5: The writers of poor grammar and spelling
Circle 6:
Circle 7: Those who turn every thread into a political flame-war
Circle 8: The complainers of 750+ SAT scores
Circle 9: The moderators (just kidding....)

So... start adding ideas! Or, uh, ignore this thread because it's lame.

those who add sarcastic remarks to almost every post they make
hides

Those who use abbreviations like numbers in the place of words, u, ur, etc, so that the message is almost unintelligible.

...agree about abbreviations. It doesn't take that long to type out an entire word.

who cares? sheesh, it's really not that big a deal if a person wants to write u instead of you. people who make a big deal about stuff like that that doesnt even matter are circle 9..or like the people who come into a debate thread and say something like "well liberals cant even tell the difference between your and you're so they're stupid" stfu, u people.

Those who post 100 "What are my chances?" threads.

^I agree with you so much. And the ones who admit to asking a billion times. They get the same stinking answers every time. I can't stand it when a student is taking questions about a college they attend, and someone posts a chance thread there even though they specifically say not to. Add on to that people who don't read the first post, or only the first post when they post.

those that ask questions that are easily answered on the target school's website

What I love is when people ask about their chances, several people proceed to give them complex analysis of their chances at each individual school, and the OP proceeds to say "does anyone else have any input?" after not getting the answer they're looking for...Oh yeah... and...and...TWINS.

I love...
People being sarcastic,
Kids who think they're fantastic,
Slackers who think they're cool...

AND THE TWINS.

I didn't say everyone using "u" should be tossed into hell, just those who use so many abbreviations that you can barely tell what they're trying to say!

Don't try to make me out to be evil just because you didn't read my whole post.

Those (apparently quite a few) who cannot correctly spell the word "definitely".

Those who misspell it containing an "a" should be moved to an even hotter level of hell.

Oh! Oh! Oh!

How about those who complain when the advice they asked for is not what they wanted to hear? Also, how about those that ask for their chances when they know perfectly well that they are a shoo-in, but are in need of a little ego-stroking?

Level 9 should be for trolls that infest boards and either trump the superiority of their school or bash another without reason or logic. The worst make such stupid comments that others are amazed that he/she is competent enough to operate a computer, i.e. "Brown is the best engineering school in the country" (you all know who im talking about).

I kinda have a problem with that. I don't think these people "know" they're in, regardless of how good their stats may be. Many many people doubt their ability, which is why it is always so exciting for people to get their first acceptance letter, regardless of how poor the school is. Also, this is a very stressful time for people and sometimes getting a vote of confidence from another can go a long way.

When you're whining about only getting a 1500 SAT and only getting 750+ on your SAT2's, it gets oh a big annoying

This coming from a truly average student in the middle of the applications process as well.

Food for thought.
