citizenship-blind schools?

Hey, does anyone know the schools that treat international students equally with American students when applying for financial aid? one post mentioned that there were 6 of them, didn't mention which ones.
(I'm a Canadian citizen, finishing HS in the states, not permanent resident)

My understanding is that it may dependi on what your visa status is…do you have a visa that would allow you to become a permanent resident at some point? SUNY schools, for example, grant instate tuition to non-immigrants with eligible visas and undocumented students who have attended and graduated from a NYS high school.

I called Columbia and asked if they cared that my citizenship is Canadian but I provide US transcripts and US address, and they said it’s not a problem.

thanks guys

I’ll continue asking individual schools.

According to Wikipedia: There are only seven colleges that are need-blind and full-need for all applicants, including international students. These are Dartmouth College, Harvard University, MIT, Princeton University, Williams College, Yale University, and Amherst College.

Powerbomb, Columbia is not on that list. Columbia accepts international students, but may not be need blind, which is what the OP was asking about (I think).

This site: [Schools Awarding International Financial Aid](Schools Awarding International Financial Aid) lists Middlebury too.
