This doesn't fit in this form, but I don't know what forum to put it in... so I'll just post my question here. At my school in addition to grades you get a citizenship grade. I got an 'n' in a class (for needs improvement) will this show on my college transcript? Does anyone know how citizenship grades work? I believe it's just for parents to see on report cards... but I wanted to see if anyone knew for sure. Thanks!

It depends. Your school determines what goes on your transcript, so you’ll have to ask them. I know that in Florida we get FCAT scores put onto our transcript.

Okay… I’ll try to ask my counselor tomorrow. If it does, do you know how much that would hurt me? I get all As and take all APs… my teacher in this one class just hates me for no reason and I’m kind of scared this is going to hurt me for college…

I would imagine that even if if your “n” did show, the fact that you don’t have other “n” would invalidate the “n,” largely. As well, you will, it is to be hoped. get great recs for college which will negate a singuilar “ding” about your character. I daresay that if all high school transcripts included citizenship evaluations, a fair number of kids would not be attending the colleges they do. I think you can relax.
