@Ipapadakis3 Thnx for the advice! I think at this point, its best if I do send an email to PIās not on the list and cross my fingers. Iāve only got 1 out of 4 responses back so far so I might wait for a bit before I send more emails.
Congrats to everyone who made it to the second round! Iām currently searching for a mentor myself (sent about 7 emails). Mostly rejects but one wants to talk next week so hopefully it goes well

Same the suspense is killing me. @lpapadakis3 I got 1 more email saying their lab is full (from Dr. Kim). I emailed a good amount of people and a lot havenāt answered and I sent them all out only an hour or two after we were given the list so this is nerve racking.
Talked to a PI today and I confirmed with him to work in his lab this summer!!
He was on the list but I think at this point reach out to a couple of researchers beyond the list.

Ahhh guys I just got an email from someone not on the list and he said heād be willing to take me! In neuro too and he said I could shadow him in the clinic and operating room if I wanted too! Hereās hoping everything goes smoothly when finalizing

@psysigh I emailed three people in neuro that worked with gliomas and stem cell therapy, two were neurosurgeons and one was a neuroscientistā¦and got a reply from the director of the brain tumor program!!!
