"civic engagement" email; what is this thing?

I got an email this morning from Ohio State, and i’m kind of confused. Do they know something i don’t know? Was i supposed to send something else?

"Ohio State requires any disciplinary action to be shared for the university’s review including the basis and reasoning. Disciplinary action related to lawful protest will not impact a student or applicant’s admissions outcome. We will always support the right of our students to lawfully express their views and to speak out about issues that are important to them. Ohio State’s motto is “Education for Citizenship,” and civic engagement and free expression are central to our values as an institution of teaching, learning and discovery.

Sincerely,

Vern Granger
Interim Vice President for Enrollment Services and
Director of Admissions"

It’s in response to student protests/demonstrations on gun control that are happening nationwide this spring. They are saying that if you participate in a lawful protest and are arrested or otherwise disciplined at your high school, you can report it to Ohio State and it will not affect your admissions outcome. Colleges throughout the U.S. are releasing statements like this.

Ah, thanks. It sounded like that was it, but i wasn’t sure, so i got worried! Thanks for the clarification!
