<p>Does anyone know if there's a repository for listings of large firms' summer internship programs? D is a junior and looking ahead to the summer and would really like to work for a large company this summer, preferably by home in CA. What she's found thus far is piecemeal with different offices hiring separately with companies like Bechtel, AECOM, etc. She's open to working elsewhere, particularly if there are locations where many interns are hired as a class of sorts so she'd have some kind of social life after the work day. I feel like there must be resources out there...her career center has only been of moderate help thus far -- fabulous with help in the cover letter/resume writing, interviewing skills, etc. but not quite as helpful with finding internships.</p>
<p>Also, D has several leads for smaller, local firms which she's pursuing but her first choice is to work for a national or international firm.</p>

<p>Has she checked with the university’s College of Engineering. I know at my university thy have lists that the career center doesn’t.</p>
<p>We both hunted around the engineering thread but didn’t see what she’s looking for and I do believe she’s asked within her department but I’ll check. Thanks for the suggestions.</p>
<p>Usually the best bet is leads through the college. Try pushing harder on that angle.</p>
