Civil engineering or Quantity surveying?

I am deciding between Civil Eng and Q.Surveying. Which field is the better field, in terms of prospects, pay, satisfaction and future growth of the industry?
I like both of them. What i don't like mostly about C.Engineering is that you have to stay in mostly at the field, there's a lot of Math and Science, and you have to be ready to get your hands dirty. I don't basically like the environment they work in as well. Correct me if i am wrong.
Q.Surveying is totally the opposite i heard. There's a lot of finance involved too, tendering and negotiation involved as well.
Which is the better option?
I'm planning on taking Q.surveying only if the construction industry has a better forecast, or sees growth in itself, because i don't want to be stranded in the end with a degree that can't be used for anything else.
Your thoughts? Is the construction industry doing good, and will it, in the foreseeable future?

You’re wrong.

Civil engineering is a diverse field. Not all jobs require you to get your hands dirty.

What about the environment do you not like? Do you not like office environments? Or the possibility of having to go to a construction site?

I was painted this picture where Civil Engineers MOSTLY spend their time on site, apart from consulting/design engineers/structural. I do not mind stepping out once or twice, and i LOVE office environments. I just don;t like the on site environment.
My only option if i have to study civil engineering is to study just civil engineering, there is no specialization in structural or whatsoever, which would mean i will most probably get an On-Site job? what would be my options otherwise?
