Civil engineering Schools - East coast

My son is interested in becoming a Civil engineer. He has come out of his fog and realizes he has to get started on his college research. We live in NJ. What are some good/great civil engineering schools on the East Coast. He has a 4.1 weighted gpa, has/is taking physics, calc. Not interested in M.I.T - don't think grades strong enough. Took SAT got 1810 will take again.

We have visited Rutgers, Penn State, Villanova, UPA.

Thank you.

I believe Lehigh is strong in Civil engineering. My sense of Lehigh is that they want students who love them so you must do a school visit and anything else to show that.

Lots of Civil E programs around. RPI, WPI, Cornell are a couple that come to mind right away. Lots more.

I believe the the SAT web site has a lot of info to find various programs that match your interests and other factors like size of school, location, GPA, etc.
