You should definitely try to contact him. It would never hurt to do so. If it sticks, then you have a much higher chance of getting in. As to my earlier post, I was trying to be honest, not actively try to discourage you. Colleges care a lot about their retention rates, and it’s great that you show an upwards trend.

I certainly wouldn’t mind. Since CMC obviously isn’t big on greek life, I feel that baseball could help access some great connections and also provide me with somewhat of a voice on campus to set up volunteer opportunities, fundraising, etc. through the team.

Essentially, I would play baseball mainly for the experience that I would gain outside of the sport. Don’t get me wrong though, I would still certainly enjoy the game itself.

And do you really think it could be too late to get recruited?

I really don’t know anything about recruitment. Just call him tomorrow
wish you the very best. I am applying for Pomona. Maybe we both get in the Claremonts :D

Most schools have all recruited athletes apply ED. I don’t know about CMC.
Soccer is a fall sport but I know most recruited athletes know where they are going by Junior Spring or Senior Fall (before they even apply).

I just left the coach a voicemail after trying to call him for the 4th day in a row…

We’ll see how it goes.

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh to you sir.

I was just declared a 2014 Horatio Alger Scholar!

Just notified admissions. Hopefully it helps.
