Clarification of UC Prompt #1

<p>The second part of the prompt says "...has shaped your dreams and aspirations." Now, does that mean that the "world I come from" has to be related specifically to a job, career, or a future hope I have? Or can the world I come from be related to characteristics I have developed because of my background?</p>

<p>More clarification if I'm not making myself clear:
Could I related the fact that I am an immigrant to me being hard working? Or is that not considered a "dream" or "aspiration"? Would I have to relate my life as a first generation American to what I want to do in the future?</p>
