Hey everyone, I just wanted to know what you all felt qualified as an honor for the common application. Right now the only thing that I am able to place for sure is AP scholar with Distinctions, but I'm not sure what else is eligible to be called an "honor". One of my friends told me that she was putting that she was the youngest person to qualify for state in debate and some other things, but I would say that that would qualify as something to put down in your activities section? It would help if you could give an example of the honors that you put in your common app, or know what would be acceptable. Thanks!

*PS. My friend actually did get awards though for the state competitions that she competed in though, so I would think that this would qualify as an honor that can be placed at the state level?

Thanks for the link. I just need to know where the line between activities and honors is drawn, and if not they can overlap?
