Clarification on Transcripts

Okay, I would like some clarification on transcripts.

My school told me that as long as they uploaded my transcripts to the Common Application, that would be considered an "official" transcript and that I wouldn't have to send one to Common App schools. So I didn't. However, Drexel is one of those schools, and they're telling me that I do need to send them. The only other Common App school who I can confirm has my transcripts is the University of Delaware, which I had sent transcripts before I was told the thing before by my school. I also asked someone from another school, and he said he sent all of his out to each school.

The question is, do I still need to sent transcripts out to the Common App colleges I'm applying to? Fortunately, I have enough for all of my January 1st deadline schools, but this might not bode well for some of my classmates if my school is wrong.... I can't imagine why a school would be wrong about that, though. However, I was told that the guidance counselors had a big meeting recently discussing this exact thing.

A quick response is welcome!

No answer???

The Common App allows your counselor to attach a transcript. If the school forms section is complete on your common app, it should include a transcript. I would give the one school that didn’t have your transcript a little more time and call again.
