@leahmarie I kinda included a condensed version of my resume, which had some extraneous stuff. I don’t think it can really hurt.

@iceui2 Wait was this last year or are you applying again?

Again, do we need copies of our AP test scores? 'Cause I can’t find mine… :/

If you list them, then yes, you’ll need some form of documentation.

Last summer was so fun I decided to apply again.

You can just list your AP scores… it’s not that big of a deal.

Just a letter from your research mentor is fine.

Yes definitely include your music stuff! In fact, I would just add anything that’s meaningful to you.

Oh I was kidding… I’m not reapplying. I wish I could though…

hahaha I completely thought you were serious about reapplying. want to tell us what you studied so we can stalk you on the interwebz/clark website?

Yeah I was like that’s one spot I’m not getting…

Oh, and not to be creepy (even if this totally is), iceui2 said something about doing chemistry. There were only 3 chemistry people there last year

It’s freak-out week … the week when applications are due.

Ack, I haven’t got anything except my transcript and test score! Time to write an essay … during AP Computer Science … again.

I really doubt I’ll get in, because I don’t have any AP scores (my school has to begin offering AP classes to sophomores next year) and I don’t have a strong science background, but I’m applying anyway. Hopefully they don’t think I’m just doing it for the US$750, because I don’t care about the money :P.

How many words for Part C? Says,“Please limit your statement to this page”.

The number of words will, of course, depend on the length of the words, the font used, the size of the font, the margin size, etc.

The answer is, “enough words to be compelling yet fit on only one page”.

buuut there’s no limit for part b specified, soooo…
not saying you should go overboard, but you can definitely squeeze a few extra words in there…

ahh guysss i gave all my app stuff to my counselor today. i knew she had something in the morning so im worried that she didn’t get to send it out today…if she sends it out tmrw, is it gonna get there on time??? im really worried that it won’t get there by friday and all that hardwork is wasted…plus i wouldn’t even have a chance. what do u guys think? will they be lenient if say my app arrives on saturday???

i’m sending mine tomorrow morning, priority mail. i think it’ll be fine.

just fyi, they send out an email when they’ve received your application

They’ve received all of my application. Now the long wait begins…

For the SAT and PSAT scores etc. do you have to send in an official copy? Or is unofficial fine?

For the narrative part, can we delete the instructions? and the bottom instruction? for more room…

@NspiredOne
lol thats what i did.

@erickwang
i sent scans of my official for psat/ap. sat 2 and sat unofficial on collegeboard

does anybody know when decisions come out?

^Here’s the timeline from last year:

April 12 - The first wave of rejection letters were received.
Mid-April - The pool was cut down to 30.
April 21 - The first person got his acceptance call.
Late April - A third cut to 15 was made.
April 26-27 - Acceptances to the top 12 came out (call + email).
Early May - One or two more people were accepted from the “waitlist”.

This wait is just a preview of what you guys will experience next year!

is it a received by or postmarked by this friday for the application?
