<p>Wow. I read your stats and thought it was a duplicate post, but they really are similar to meganfoxftw’s stats.</p>
<p>How many students are in your grade at your school? I’m in a class of about 400, and we aren’t even close to offering AP-level Chinese–such a shame. It’s also kind of sad that the only AP course available to sophomores is AP US History. Of course, the year I’m graduating, they just have to start offering more AP choices to underclasspeople.</p>

at our school, there is only honors chinese, i took AP/SAT 2 on my own (really not a stretch at all considering how easy the tests were). odd, at our school, everyone takes APUSH junior year. class size i think is around 400, maybe 500? i really don’t know… we don’t rank until senior year and that is in deciles. this particular thread is slowly consuming my life, it has become the new facebook gah!!!</p>

<p>Yeah, usually at my school, juniors take AP US or AP Euro, but the former is open to sophomores as well. We’re offering Chinese 1 beginning next year, as well as AP World (for sophomores only, apparently).</p>
<p>At my school, freshmen can take AP World, sophomores can take AP Gov, and juniors can take most of the other APs and APUSH.</p>

<p>My school only really has a strict no AP for freshman policy. Other than that, as long as you meet the prereqs, you can take pretty much anything</p>

<p>there’s no ap’s for freshman at my school. unless ur super ahead in math and take ap calc as a freshman. ap euro is for sophomores but they can take a couple of others. ap us is for juniors. yea there’s not too much strict policy about what u can or cannot take as long as u have the prereqs. and we don’t have chinese anything…</p>

<p>Did anyone qualify for any of the semifinal tests for the olympiads? We got our USABO results and I managed to qualify for the semifinal round. I’m still waiting on Chem Olympiad though…ACS…</p>
