<p>As for the rest of us: Guess we’ll assume all who have not been contacted are in or alternates. Can’t believe they are still issuing rejections at this point…but we’ll see. I have already kind of settled my mind on another program. Maybe social networking is not so good as we hear about all of these rejections and then become more anxious. Frankly, I am afraid it I do not commit to one of my other programs now, that I risk losing my spot. </p>
<p>Okay, I need to think positive about Clark again. Two months ago I decided it was my top choice, even over RSI. I’m seeming very fickle lately. We shall see…</p>

<p>Wow, congrats icecream!!! I guess there still may be hope for me? Although I am getting exciting about my other internship so I will not be disappointed if I am turned down. Being accepted would really complicate my life trying to make up my mind (a good inconvenience though).</p>
<p>@ batfan- my other option is an internship at Rockefeller University in NYC. 10 weeks in NYC sounds pretty fun to me</p>

<p>It’s kind of irritating though, because I have to let teachers know whether I can do competitions in the summer (otherwise I’m going to have to pay $500+ since registration will already be paid through the district…).
Trying not to be too bummed if I don’t get in because I’ve got a pretty great opportunity at the local med school but… rejection hurts

<p>However, who knows how many people applied/haven’t heard that aren’t CCers? I for one mostly lurk but the crazy boasting (on CC in general) tends to keep me from becoming more active. Plus, AP tests and all that. </p>
<p>Anyways, let’s keep the hope up, but I usually expect the worst. It would be REALLY evil to get a rejection email two weeks late, however. I keep thinking Mrs. Durham lost my email or something, but I got the confirmation, so that can’t be it. Going kind of crazy here AP cramming is not helping haha.</p>
<p>lol I am in the same situation. Fortunately I only have one more ap (us history) but this is massively distracting me from studying.</p>
<p>I thought the same thing as RSI sent my rejection out late (I have posted this sooo many times but it still annoys me lol). I think at this point we were at least finalists and taken into the final consideration which can only be good in terms of our future. I am also planning on calling on monday if I have not received a decision simply because my other summer plans are currently on hold like yours.</p>
