Clark Scholars 2011!

Go ahead and do it if there’s room on the app.

do they really not want us to staple anything on the application?!

definitely listing my awards, i have a lot that show my interest in the subject. test grades i am listing sat 2, sat, psat, and ap

No, leahmarie, they just wrote that for no reason.

If you can’t even figure out such a simple statement, why are you even applying in the first place? Come on, people, we’re all smart here … mostly.

chaseholl: thanks. also, f**k you.

While my earlier post was intended to be humorous, it appears your post above was not.

I implore you to review the [CC terms of service](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_new_faq_item). Cheers!

oh god. i’m so so so so so sorry. it didn’t read as a joke, i guess. i wish i could delete that.

That’s quite alright; my humor is usually too dry and it was amusing as I was listening to Cee Lo Green when I first read your post. Coincidence, hah.

ahh i still feel terrible :frowning: now that we have that (somewhat) sorted out, though, i have yet another question: do our teacher recommendations have to be from the subjects we’re interested in? i love chemistry, but i don’t get along with my chemistry teacher. there are other teachers i’m very close with, but they don’t teach the subjects i want to do research in.

p.s. awesome song

I think that might help, but I doubt it’ll be too much of an issue if the teachers you choose just talk about how motivated and bright and generally excellent you are. I’m going to have my English teacher write one, because I think she likes my writing a lot; for the other two, I’m planning on either a former biology teacher, a social sciences teacher, and/or a classical languages teacher.

I’m basing this on who is best at writing recs–I’m great at math but my math teacher isn’t really the brightest bulb in the chandelier so I’m not picking her :P

what do you think the minimum ACT score needs to be? will the ACT work or just SAT?

@chaseholl & leahmarie - you two would make a great couple at Clark.

LOL iceui2, i was just going to say that… they fight like a married couple. + are their juicy hookups lol?

smile12157, I’d say at least 30, but you should apply regardless. Provide ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc. if available, but they’re not all required if you didn’t take one yet.

I’m not going to reply to anyone else’s comments … :)

hahaha, oh come on, you guys…

hahaha :)

Just FYI, I asked Ms. Durham and she says to

She says for us to get married? o_O (or you meant send both ACT and SAT?)

@batfan

what does she say to do???

when r u guys mailing it? how long does it usually take to get the app to clarks? i would like the weekend to brush up on my essays but they have to receive it next friday…

@swirlz

batfan says Ms. Durham is telling us to list stuff apart from SAT/ACT/PSAT (AP, SAT II, etc)

I plan to have everything done by Sunday. All that I really cannot control is teacher recs and the transcript; I’ve requested them but IDK when they’ll be given to me.
