^Me too. I messed up Part B. I just didn’t really get what it meant by “this” page because you can’t see the pages online…

Do you think they’ll count it against us?

If enough people have done it they might think of it as an understandable confusion that they could’ve made more clear, I understand they’ve changed the application format from last year. (when I was first going through the application imho it would’ve helped a little if they’d label the page breaks and numbers)

Unrelated question:
My PSAT was a mid-220, I just got my January SAT which is a mid-2300, is that a big enough jump to send them new scores, or should I just leave them alone? Anyone else in a similar situation?

LonelyHapax, send them an update.

To those above worrying about application status after botching the page length or whatever, there’s no point worrying now. Some programs will be harsh about this (which I consider misguided, shortsighted, and rather naive), while others won’t. There’s still plenty a chance that it won’t hurt.

Mrow, I also got chastised for messing with the application format (typed it all out on word).

Ahh 2 months of waiting I can’t live with myself!

Meanwhile, let’s compile a list of those who applied. Tack yourselves on, people:
mathnerd1

mathnerd1
Bioboy12

Sent from my SGH-T959V using CC

aka everyone on this thread…

Mathnerd1- I did the same thing! I spent at least 2 months going through drafts for the essays, and now I feel so bad…

Do you think they are going to punish you in the admissions decisions for your disregard for their instructions, or do you think they’re just chastising you for the sake of teaching you a lesson?

litotes, IMO, the latter.

So, one of my teachers never sent their recommendation in, so they gave me until this Friday, and they extended it once before. Which maybe means that they like my app enough to keep extending it>

Good for you, bakere19.

Well they extended it for me too…I think they just understand that it’s not your fault if a teacher didn’t send it in. Lol I doubt they like my application THAT much…

Hey guys, good luck with the application process! I know it is a daunting one but since the deadline has already passed and everything is in. Just hope for the best Ms. Durham is really nice, don’t worry, it is extremely unlikely they will punish people for not being able to follow directions.

lolz I’m the OP and I forgot that the deadline was at the beginning of February, so I ended up not applying. THE IRONY

are we allowed to update Clark Scholars in terms of grades and awards ?

Anyone still without confirmation letters? Still don’t know if they’ve received my app :/

That’s not a good sign! Did you send Ms. Durham an email to ask? She told us, the 2011 Clarkies last week that she had just finished sorting through them and sending receipt of applications.

@ Killzslayz, Yes, I would think so! Just make sure they are important and relevant. :)

what would relevant in terms of competitions refer to ? D:

thanks ! :D

Umm, that really depends on you! I mean it really couldn’t hurt unless you sent updates multiple times in a few weeks and they are all about similar things then Ms. Durham might get slightly annoyed?!? I’m not sure. I personally didn’t send any last year and just waited to see.
