Does that mean the people who got confirmation first are the stack they like?

I definitely would not read that much into it. They are probably sending out confirmations as they review the apps, so you really have no way of knowing whether they like your app or not before decision day.

They make decisions late April, right?

I think decisions start rolling in around mid-April.

should you send updates?

ihearfood - nope - no updates . In the previous threads I read Ms.Durham had said she just discards them.

I e-mailed Ms. Durham and she said decisions would be made late April or early May.

@gh0601, thanks for letting us know.

@gh0601: Wow, that’s terrible.

YES, absolutely terrible!

Early May? Ugh, that’s so late, I need to apply for summer jobs if I dont get in and college students will start coming back by then to take their old jobs back!

Seriously? By this time last year, people were already beginning to receive rejections, and about a week later, people started to receive confirmation of Top 36 status…
It’s possible that the process will be similar this year.

I’m in a situation where I’ve already had to accept my place in another programs since they required me to get back to them last week and I wasn’t going to bank on getting into Clark with it’s ridiculous selectivity. But mid to late April has now gone to late to early May? Really? They have to understand that plans for summer are made well before that and leaving such a huge wild card like this is unacceptable.

I agree. This is terrible. Hopefully, selected students can tell Dr. San Francisco when they get to meet him.

Hoctopi: what did you mean by “36 status”? … I don’t think I would like to know I am among the top 36 first. accept or reject; 12 is 12, maybe a couple of wait listed candidates, that’s all. This is terrible!

Last year some students received rejection letters as early as April 5th.

got accepted by another program…not sure when the decision will be out from Clark, sigh

We shouldn’t bet on this program, this year a total of almost 400 people applied!

How did you know more than 400 people applied this year ?
