What does TOTAL SCORE mean on the application?
@Quantumpotato I think that’s for any other standardized test that they didn’t list
Also, do you have any idea of when the decisions come out? I couldn’t find it anywhere :-S
aks1118 From past years’ forums, it seems like the decisions come out by the end of April
How hard is it exactly to get accepted to Clark Scholars? That they only accept 12 students is frightening…
@cwkeam I can’t find anything recent but in 2008 they had 90 applicants
…in 2015 they had 400 applicants
what are all of your guys’s achievements/test scores? just want to see the competition
SAT: 1570
ACT: 35
PSAT: 223 index
GPA: 3.9/4.0
Extra Curriculars: science fair for 3 years, various clubs
Letter of Recs: all 3 of them were very good i believe
Research Experience: 2 years workign from a lab and 1 year solo
Do they usually go for applicants with previous research experience or will they take someone without any?
hey has anyone heard back yet
hey does anyone know how to see your application after you’ve submitted it? i want to reread my essays lol
so I’ve gotten rejected from all the other summer programs I’ve applied to and I’m almost 100% sure this is gonna be another one lol. They said early May on the website does anyone that applied last year know when they sent out results?
@pblover It seems like it was April 20th last year (from last year’s thread)
has anyone heard back yet?
Hey! For all those asking about hearing back, on their website they clearly mention that they will not be sending individual emails but will post a notice on the website once they make the decisions. Only selected applicants will receive emails. I hope this clears some of the confusion!
anyone heard back yet today?
Judging from last year’s thread, they might be sending out acceptance emails around this time.
they haven’t posted the notice on the website yet that says that decisions were announced? it still says they’ll be released in early may.
i called and didnt make it past the fourth round
i have NYSC, Google CSSI and JAX SSP anyways so its all good in the hood (plus i wasnt gonna go anyways)
