Hi,
I'm interested in the Clark Scholars Program in Texas
Does this program require US citizenship or the green card? (permenant residence)
I don't have either although I do go to school in US
Also, does this program have an age limit? Or just a grade limit? (such as only juniors and seniors can apply etc)
How competitive is it?
I'm interested in medical/ biology related research.
Would this program beneficial if I want to do research in that area?
thanks :)

Oh, and is the PSAT score important? I got 198 on it and I haven't taken the SAT yet, although I am taking it in March. I didn't really study for it... well, not at all. I didn't think it was important and now I'm kinda regretting it but oh well.

Sounds cool. I'll consider applying.

um... Furby, you didn't exactly answer my question.....
anyone else?
bump......

For the green card and age questions, give them a call, they list contact people.

You can assume that any program that gives you room, board and a stipend is very competitive; looks like they only take 12 students each year.

Many of the research areas they list are medical/biology related, and even if you work in another subject area, it is good to get any kind of research experience.

Your PSAT will be considered along with the rest of your application, it's really impossible to say how much emphasis they will place on it.

yeah, I'm also applying. I think it has a stronger bio emphasis than RSI does. It's still very competitive.
