Clark U Vs UVM

comparissons? which is better? etc

Interesting! My son is trying to make the same decision! In fact we are visiting both schools this week. I think they are both great schools. Burlington is a great town, while Worcester is definitely not as appealing. Small class size at Clark is nice, but is the campus too small? Decisions, decisions… Your thoughts?

I have visited both schools.
Vermont: A great town/setting with excellent skiing and outdoors activities. Great Facilities the new student union is an awesome place. and of course the town of burlington is super nice and has lots of great places to eat/shop etc.
Clark: awesome IR (what i want to study prob.) very nice class size and personal professor relationships. I stayed overnight with the soccer team and it was a blast. I would play if i went. The kids were really down to earth and similar to me which is a huge plus. also boston is a forty min train ride which is cool.
On the other hand Clark has some crappy architecture and the dining hall wasnt to be desired of. the buildings were horrible 60’s architecture. And for vermotn i feel like i may become a number because of the size and also the pot-head scene isnt for me.

Any other suggestions?

I just want to say that you shouldn’t think of Vermont as the “pot-head scene”… I do in fact know a bunch of people that smoke, but I know more people that don’t smoke than do. I myself don’t smoke.

I don’t know anything about Clark, so I’m sorry I can’t provide a comparison between the two schools. It sounds like what you are looking for is there though (minus the gorgeous buildings we have up here in Vermont!). Good luck in your decision though!!

After visiting both schools last week, my son will be headed to UVM in the fall! He is absolutely thrilled!
