Advisee was so excited to have been admitted-I’d guess with support but only heard about the acceptance.
Hey I was accepted with a Global scholars scholarship as well and was wondering if the 28,000 scholarship package for you was for all the four years or for each year.
Congrats!
Congrats to everyone!
I was accepted and awarded a $25,000 scholarship for the Global Scholars Program as well @Gowri1505 you didn’t ask me but my package is for each year. Hope to meet you two there!
@lemonsforeyes @Gowri1505 Hey! Congratulations! $28,000 is for each year. That is to say, that I’ll be getting the scholarship every year for four years at Clark University.
I hope to meet you there as well! Although Clark isn’t my first choice, I’m definitely thrilled to get the acceptance!
DD was accepted with Goddard (60K), made her feel warm and bubbly and the personal note was a nice touch. We don’t have a “first choice” as of yet, just tiers of choices and Clark in her top tier. As a side note, it was in her middle tier initially, until we had our visit. She really was impressed with the people and the feel of it all and it rose up to top tier with the visit. Kudos to Clark and the team we met on our visit day.
A lot of it will depend on the financials for all of the other choices (financials are a big thing for us), but I know she is extremely excited about Clark and looking fwd to investigating it further between now and d-day. Congrats to all who already replied!
SAT: 1300
GPA: 3.5 W (in all AP/honors, challenging HS)
Extras: Not a ton, but they were probably more on the unique side
Accepted with Goddard (60k) as well! Was so excited! It was really nice to get merit money considering my stats aren’t amazing!
I also got a lot of grant money to cover full tuition! Clark is definitely towards the top of my list now.
SAT: 1370
GPA: 91/100 unweighted (with 8 AP, school doesn’t offer Honors)
Extras: Probably strongest part of application, many in school clubs as well as out-of-school leadership roles and internships
Hi '23 friends! I just got my decision (delayed bc of financial aid problems ewww) and I’m super excited to be accepted! Like many of you, I also got the Traina Scholarship which was wild considering I wasn’t sure I’d get in at all after all of the problems. The lil personal note in the acceptance letter made my heart so full.
@zoelynn22 Congratulations! I have a few questions for you, if you do not mind. My DD also got the Goddard, and had similar numbers. But as of now, we were offered zero grants, financial aid or work study, which puts the net cost of attending over 40K, even with the scholarship. We do have a VERY HIGH (unfortunately) EFC, which for us is not very realistic, as we live in an extremely high cost of living area. You mentioned grants, which is something we would probably need (in addition to the Goddard) to be able to afford Clark financially, was your EFC lower in that they may have helped with the grants as a form of financial aid? Congrats again.
Hey everyone! Just got my decision because of a financial aid problem. I was looking for some advice.
I was deferred, and I’m not quite sure why.

I have already been accepted into Salve Regina and UMass Amherst. I just was expecting to be at least accepted but if anyone has any insight or advice it’d be appreciated.
@bpcollege Hard to say, Clark is not a large school, and they may have already filled up their list with students who they are waiting on decisions from, i.e. they may over-commit if they also offer you a spot. I would say by the numbers, you look like a very good candidate to be accepted, and this could just be a case of waiting a bit until a few people on their current open invitation list decline.
Many families are in the same situation that we are. For starters, our local state flagship (which is invariably cheaper than all other options and an excellent education) does not give out decisions until late February/early March. In addition to this, my DD plans to visit several of her top choices (Clark is in this list) on admitted student days, to try to get more of a feel for each school. I think people will start to make decisions in the March window, and my guess is that if you sent in a letter of interest to admissions (schools want to know that if they say yes, you’re likely to go there). You’re numbers are higher than those of my DD across the board, and she received the Goddard scholarship, so I would think you would at least receive that, if they are indeed interested.
Lastly, choice of major is a factor too, as each school has different requirements for each major, and also a limited number of spots. This is more of a factor for a small school (Clark) than a large one (Umass).
