Very well said noamountofcoffee!

This is like comparing Boston College ( Holy Cross) and Boston University(Clark). Just down the street from each other but Totally different in every way possible.
A comparable discussion for Holy Cross should be with Bucknell and Richmond. Those are the kind of schools that compete with Holy Cross

Clark grad hereâŠagree with digger itâs an apples to oranges comparison. Clark is very liberal, quirky, and politically active campus. Many students get engaged in the community. Some programs are top-notch for ugrads. I never felt unsafe on campus or going out with friends (but never went off into the city alone at nightâŠwhy would I?). I enjoyed my time there and was well prepared for my profession.

Holy Cross has a traditional, beautiful NE campus and has rigorous academics across the board. D1 sports too. More drinking on campus.

Fit matters a lot when you look at Worcester-area colleges. There is not much interaction between the schools.

I wish there was more interaction but they make it so that you have to take a class they donât offer at their school and the timing isnât always the best. Events on campus sometimes clash.
My daughter is doing a study abroad with Clark in May and hopes to get to know some students better. They are different in feel and I would have anyone liking both on paper to visit both for the day.

Thanks!

early_college I forgot to mention⊠HCâs on-campus snack joints do have a slightly better selection of sour gummies than Clarkâs. It really depends on your priorities in life.

Thank you so much noamountofcoffee, very helpful! :)

You should visit & just walk around campuses and see how things are. Even stop by & just ask students questions, overhear conversations, etc⊠Its better than tours.

More than what all these people are saying at both campuses

@early_college

No problem!
